Jasmine Fleming is a polished, high impact midfielder whose poise, elite ball use and leadership have established her as one of the AFLW’s brightest young stars. Recruited from the Oakleigh Chargers, she debuted in Hawthorn’s inaugural AFLW match and made an immediate impression, earning a Rising Star nomination in her first season.
By 2024, Fleming had become the engine of Hawthorn’s midfield, averaging 18.6 disposals, generating consistent inside 50 entries and leading the league for bounces, showcasing her ability to break lines and drive play. Her performances were recognised with a third consecutive top three finish in the club Best & Fairest and she was awarded Best Player in Finals, underlining her impact in big moments.
She carried this form into 2025, once again delivering a strong and consistent season across 11 matches. Jasmine continued to influence games with her composure under pressure, defensive work rate and clean ball movement, earning selection in the AFLW 22Under22 team for the third consecutive year, which is a testament to her sustained excellence at a young age.
Off the field, Jasmine carries a rich sporting pedigree as the daughter of former Australian cricketer Damien Fleming and ex netballer Wendy O'Donnell. Her grounded personality, elite mindset and professionalism make her a compelling figure for campaigns centred on youth leadership, legacy and high-performance culture.
