Hayley Miller is firmly established as one of the AFLW’s elite players, renowned for her leadership, consistency, and influence on the field. Recruited from the Coastal Titans (WAFLW), she was selected with Fremantle’s first-ever pick in the inaugural 2016 AFLW Draft and has since built an outstanding career as a powerful and dynamic midfielder and forward line player.
Across 80 AFLW games, Miller has consistently delivered reliability, athleticism, and a fierce competitive edge, excelling through her strength at the contest, work rate, and ability to drive her team forward. A multiple All-Australian and Fremantle best-and-fairest winner, as well as captain for two seasons, her leadership credentials are matched by her on-field output, regularly ranking among the competition’s top performers.
In 2024, Miller played a pivotal role in Fremantle’s campaign, once again carrying significant responsibility through the midfield and forward line. Her consistency, physicality, and ability to influence both sides of the ball underpinned the Dockers’ structure and leadership group.
Building on that form, Miller enjoyed a career-best season in 2025, hitting the scoreboard with nine goals while continuing to set the standard through her speed, tackling pressure, and on-field leadership. Her ability to impact games both as a midfielder and forward further cemented her status as a cornerstone of Fremantle’s AFLW program.
