Hannah Priest is the heart and soul of St Kilda’s AFLW side, a composed defender and midfield leader whose consistency, courage and voice have shaped the club’s identity since its inaugural season. Originally drafted from Norwood in the SANFLW, Priest made her AFLW debut in 2020 and quickly rose to become co-captain in 2021, before being appointed sole captain from 2022 onward.

In 2024, she captained the Saints through another strong campaign, playing 11 games and continuing to anchor the backline with her trademark composure and clean ball use. That season also marked a major milestone, as Priest became the club’s first AFLW player to reach 50 games, a testament to her durability, professionalism and long term impact.

She built on that form in 2025, featuring in all 13 matches and leading St Kilda into finals. Known for her intercept marking, calm decision making and ability to rally teammates under pressure, Priest remained a pivotal figure across half-back applying defensive pressure and driving team standards.

Across her career, she has finished top three in the club’s Best & Fairest and earned multiple leadership and club awards, including the AVJennings Sainter of the Year and AFLW Crest Award.

Off the field, Hannah is a passionate advocate for women’s sport, breast protection in AFLW and community engagement. Her story resonates with themes of resilience, leadership and legacy, making her a powerful fit for campaigns focused on empowerment, health and high-performance culture.
