Darcy Guttridge is a composed and skilful forward whose clean ball use and football IQ set her apart. A natural leader, Darcy captained the Vic Country Youth Girls team in 2017, demonstrating her ability to step up in critical moments and bring the best out of her teammates around her.

Hailing from Traralgon, Darcy developed through the Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup before enjoying a standout season with Cranbourne in the VFLW. Her impressive year saw her touted as a potential top three draft pick in Victoria, before Collingwood secured her with their second selection in the 2018 AFLW Draft.

Darcy’s early AFLW journey was met with adversity when a broken collarbone suffered in a pre-season practice match ruled her out of the 2018 season. Showing resilience and dedication, she returned the following year and made an immediate impact, featuring in the final three games of the 2019 season and showcasing her forward craft.

At the conclusion of 2019, Darcy embraced a new challenge, accepting a two year deal with St Kilda ahead of the club’s inaugural AFLW season in 2020. Since joining the Saints, she has carved out a valuable role as a small forward, known for her work rate, link-up play and ability to contribute on the scoreboard.

With her composure, leadership and versatility, Darcy Guttridge continues to be a respected and reliable contributor at AFLW level.

Outside of Football, Darcy is keen to join the Police Force.
