After making the decision to stop playing Basketball, which included turning down a US College Scholarship, Chloe has thrived in her pursuit of playing AFLW in 2018.

She began the season with the Calder Cannons in the inaugural Women’s TAC Cup, where her form was outstanding. Chloe finished the year as joint Best & Fairest and leading goal kicker, before continuing her dominance with Diamond Creek in the VFLW, where she again ranked among the competition’s top scorers. This exceptional form saw Collingwood select Chloe with their first pick in the AFLW Draft.

Drafted as a forward, Chloe was shifted into defence in her debut AFLW season with immediate success. Nominated for the NAB Rising Star in her first game against Carlton, she showcased her ability to shut down opponents and rebound off half-back with elite ball use. Her remarkable debut season was capped off by winning the AFLW and AFLPA Best First Year Player, being named All-Australian, and claiming Collingwood’s Best & Fairest.

Unfortunately, Chloe missed the entire 2019 season after suffering a serious foot and ankle injury late in the VFLW season. She used the setback as motivation, returning in 2020 to play a variety of roles before being redeployed forward in 2021 a move that saw her earn All-Australian selection. She continued as a key contributor for Collingwood across Season 6 and 7 in 2022.

Chloe moved to the Sydney Swans on the opening day of the 2023 Priority Signing and Trade Period and made an immediate impact. Voted by her peers as co-captain, she enjoyed a stellar season, earning All-Australian honours and finishing equal second in the AFLW Best & Fairest.

In 2024, Chloe’s season was unfortunately cut short after suffering an ACL injury, limiting her to just one appearance as she focused on rehabilitation. She made a powerful return in 2025, reclaiming her role as Sydney’s attacking focal point. Chloe opened the season with a four-goal performance before producing a record equalling seven goal haul in Round 2, underlining her status as one of the competition’s most dangerous forwards. Across the season, she led from the front as co-captain, combining elite goal sense, aerial presence and leadership.

A proven match winner and inspirational leader, Chloe Molloy continues to shape the future of the Sydney Swans and remains one of the AFLW’s biggest stars.

Away from Footy, Chloe has completed a Bachelor of Sports Media and is currently working at Fox Sports. Chloe also works as an Ambassador for Special K, Sherrin, NIKE, Red Bull and Shock Doctor.
