Bella Eddey is a sharp, creative forward whose speed, decision-making and natural goal sense have made her a consistent threat inside 50 since her AFLW debut in 2021. Drafted from the Sandringham Dragons, Eddey quickly adapted to the elite level, kicking a goal in her first match and establishing herself as a key part of North Melbourne’s attacking structure.

By 2024, Bella had surpassed 60 AFLW games and 27 career goals, delivering a career best season and playing a pivotal role in North Melbourne’s AFLW premiership. She kicked 10 goals across the campaign and produced several standout performances, including a 20-disposal, two goal game in tough wet conditions against Carlton, and a clutch finals display against Adelaide where she booted two crucial majors.

She backed this up in 2025, once again contributing strongly across the forward line and midfield rotations as North Melbourne went back-to-back, claiming a second consecutive premiership. Bella’s consistency, composure and ability to impact big moments further cemented her reputation as one of the Roos’ most reliable attacking weapons.

With her creativity, work rate and football smarts, Eddey continues to be an integral part of North Melbourne’s premiership core.

Off the field, Eddey is a passionate advocate for health awareness, having openly shared her journey managing Crohn’s disease. She’s also a finalist for the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award, recognised for her work with the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Good Friday Appeal.
